Traveler Notes
A quick trip for tourism, a family gathering, or a short business errand rarely needs the paperwork weight of a longer stay.
For anything under six months, the Cameroon Short-Stay Visa covers the bulk of everyday travel purposes — tourism, conferences, internships, humanitarian work, and more. Documentation stays fairly light too: passport bio-page scan, confirmed return ticket, yellow fever proof, and accommodation booking.
Both single and multiple entry options exist, each valid up to 180 days from issue. Processing follows the standard three-tier system, normal, rush, or super rush, depending on how soon departure falls.
One detail worth flagging: minors need their own separate application alongside supporting documents, they can’t simply be added under a parent’s file. Extensions are possible too, filed before expiry with a valid reason attached.
